    • "Parents: James and Susannah (Seamans) Round.
    • "Married Alice Wilkinson in Scituate, Rhode Island in 1760
    • "Served in the Rhode Island Militia from 1775-1780. Pension # 845860. He stated in a deposition taken on 15 October 1832 in the Court of Common Pleas in Otsego County, New York that at the time of the deposition he was a resident of Richfield, Otsego County, New York, having come there in 1794.
    • He began his service on 20 April 1775, serving as a first sergeant under a Captain Joseph Kimball. He served for a period of 19 days, at which time he was commissioned an ensign on 19 June 1775 in a Minuteman group known as the "Scituate Hunters". He served with them for 8 months and 2 days. He became a 2nd Lt. for 1 year and 3 months, starting on 28 April 1777.
