Traveled around the world on the 20th of January 1881.

Returned to his native land, Hawai'i, on the 29th of October 1881!

Was crowned on 12 February 1883!

On November 1890...departed from Honolulu aboard the American Warship CHARLESTON for San Francisco where he died on the 20th of January 1891...

in the Palace Hotel!

On the 29th of January 1891... the remains arrived in Honolulu, and on the 15nth of February of 1891... the funeral was held with burial in the chiefly cemetery of Nuuanu.
