About Abigail Whitley
The date of death shown by The Allen Family Project is 27 Mar 1699; however, this is very doubtful. The will of Ebenezer Allen dated 18 Apr 1725 mentions his wife, Abigail. There is evidence that Abigail may have remarried after Ebenezer died to a John Whiteley/Whitly/Whitely in Dartmouth in July 1728. This is from the Dartmouth Society of Friends. It also appears in the Dartmouth Vital Records, Vol II, p. 19.
