Source: http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=mscheffle... Barbour has Andrew Andrus born 1680 as possibly Jr. and has question mark that the father is Andrew Sr. However, the other children are listed as children of Abraham Andrus, Jr.
Looking at Torrey there appear to be two Abraham Andrus or Andrews not too many years apart in age. The Abraham Andrus, Jr. who had children Rebecca, Mary, Hannah, Abraham, Sarah, Rachel, John and Thomas in Waterbury must be the one who married Rebecca Carrington, daughter of John. The two Abraham Andrews/Andrus Sr. and Jr. must be two people of varying ages rather than designating a father/son relationship.
Jacobus identifies Abraham Andrews born 1648 and dying 1693 as the son of John Andrews and Elizabeth Strictland. He married Sarah Porter, daughter of Robert and Mary Scott Porter and had children Sarah, Abraham Mary, Benjamin, Robert, and a posthumous child. These appear to be two distinctly different families.
