Brief Life History of Abraham Knobel
When Abraham Knobel was born on 30 October 1814, in Glarus, Glarus, Switzerland, his father, David Knobel, was 33, and his mother, Anna Barbara Schiesser, was 26. He married Katharina Knobel in about 1835. They were the parents of at least 3 sons. He also married Bolette Kristine Johansen in 1880 and had at least a further son and further 2 daughters He died in 1889, in Switzerland, at the age of 75.
