Brief Life History of Dorothea Boesch (Knobel)
When Dorothea Knobel was born on 18 February 1808, in Alt St. Johann, Sankt Gallen, Switzerland, her father, David Knobel, was 26, and her mother, Anna Barbara Schiesser, was 20. She married Johannes Boesch on 20 March 1834, in Alt St. Johann, Sankt Gallen, Switzerland. They were the parents of at least 5 sons and 5 daughters. She died on 24 January 1862, in Sankt Gallen, Switzerland, at the age of 53.
