About Adelaide L. Griffin
Adelaide was the daughter of Joseph and Katherine Theobald Hancock. She married Clarence H. Griffin on June 18, 1930, in Havana and he preceded her in death on Jan. 20, 1995.
Mrs. Griffin was a member of the First Baptist Church in Havana, where she taught Sunday school for many years, and she also was a member of the Happy Hour Card Club.
She is survived by one daughter, Martha Williams, and two sons, James (Carla) Griffin and Joe (Martha) Griffin, all of Havana. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by five brothers, four sisters and one grandson.
Burial will be in the Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana.
