About Adelheid Bloch

http://stolpersteine-konstanz.de/index.html?bloch_adelheid.htm http://stolpersteine-konstanz.de/index.html?bloch_moritz.htm

Adelheid Bloch was born on April 12, 1908 in Constance. She was the daughter of Moritz Bloch and his second wife Ida (née Weil) and, like her parents, of Jewish faith. The name Adelheid she received in memory of Adele Bloch, the first wife of her father.

Already as a 3-year-old Adelheid fell ill with meningitis, from which she never recovered. From 15.6.1927 to 25.6.1940 (ie just over 13 years) she was housed in the health and care institution Wiesloch. So she was captured by the T-4 action as mentally disabled.

The last traces of her life can be found in an order of the Baden Ministry of the Interior. According to that, she should be transferred to an out-of-home institution. On a corresponding document she was "released" on 25.6.1940.

In fact, on the same day she was taken to the Grafeneck killing center, gassed and cremated.
