Ahto Kullervo Kaj Sippola (31. lokakuuta 1914 – 13. kesäkuuta 1944 Siiranmäki, Kivennapa) oli suomalainen sotilas ja Mannerheim-ristin ritari numero 86. Hänelle myönnettiin Mannerheim-risti 31. elokuuta 1942. Sotilasarvoltaan hän oli vänrikki. Sippola oli Jalkaväkirykmentti 28:n 14. komppanian eli rykmentin tykkikomppanian (panssarintorjuntakomppanian) I joukkueen johtaja. Komppanialla oli aseistuksena mm. 37 mm panssarintorjuntatykkejä ja 20 mm pst-kiväärejä eli norsupyssyjä, sekä myöhemmin sotasaaliina saatuja venäläisiä 45 mm pst-tykkejä ("piiskatykki"). Sotahistoriallisen aikakauskirjan (n:o 24) mukaan Sippola oli myös yksi neljästä "Molotovin cocktailin" kehittäjästä.

Ahto Kullervo Kaj Sippola ( October 31, 1914 - June 13, 1944 Siiranmäki , Kivennapa ) was a Finnish soldier and knight of the Mannerheim Cross number 86. He was awarded the Mannerheim Cross on August 31, 1942. He was a lieutenant in military rank .
Sippola was the leader of the 1st team of the 14th Company of the Infantry Regiment, ie the regiment's cannon company (anti-tank company). The company was armed with e.g. 37 mm anti-tank guns and 20 mm pst rifles, ie Russian 45 mm pst guns (" whip cannon ") later captured as war booty .
According to the War History Magazine (No. 24), Sippola was also one of the four developers of the " Molotov Cocktail. "
In the late summer of 1941, Sippola excelled in the battles of Akkaharju – Mikrilä near the village of Tyrjä ( Parikkala ), personally destroying e.g. four enemy tanks, several trucks, and log-structured machine gun emplacements.
The commander of JR 28 made a proposal to award the Mannerheim Cross, but when nothing was heard, the regiment made a new reward presentation after the battles of Tyrjä, supported by the commander of the army, General Taavetti Laatikainen . On September 9, 1941, the commander of JR 28 presented Sippola with the Mannerheim Cross after he destroyed six tanks and six covered machine gun colonies in the battles of Akkaharju-Mikrilä on 2-7. August 1941. The show went to headquarters, but was frozen for nearly a year. Sippola received the Mannerheim Cross on 15 September 1942 in Mikkeli , in the courtyard of the headquarters, from the hand of Marshal Mannerheim . He was promoted to lieutenant the next day.
Sippola fell on June 13, 1944 at the Battle of Siiranmäki . He was first buried in Luumäki and finally on 19 August in Helsinki in the hero's grave of Hietaniemi Cemetery . Kullervo Sippola's grandfather was Matti Sippola , the founder of the Finnish youth club movement, and his father was Ahto Sippola, a master builder and independence activist . His three uncles Aarne , Urho and Vilkas Sippola were Jaegers.
