Keminlappalainen (saamelainen) noita ja shamaani

Aikia Aikianpojan patronyymi on Aikianpoika. Tästä tulee nimi isälle. Aikia oli myös noita / shamaani viitaten siihen tietoon, jonka Aikia Aikianpoika oli antanut.

• Aikia Aikianpoika oli oikeudessa kertonut, että oli oppinut noitataidot isältään 10-vuotiaana eli noin vuonna 1600-1601, kun Aikia Aikianpoika oli syntynyt 1591. Tästä tiedosta päätellen isä Aikia oli myös elänyt vielä vuonna 1600-1601 ja kuollut vasta sen jälkeen.

Vuonna 1970 löydettiin Kuusamon Posion Kitkan Lehtoniemestä löytyi noidan hauta. Haudasta löytyi kahden äyrin kolikko 1573, jossa oli reikä riipuksena toimimista varten. Haudasta rumpupäristin ornamentein ja ortodoksiristillä koristeltuna. Shamaanilla oli täten yhteyksiä Venäjän ortodokseihin.

Paikalla oli ollut myös nahasta ja puusta tehty rumpu, joka oli kadonnut jäljettömiin.. Jäljelle oli jäänyt vain arparenkaat, jotka oli tehty pronssista. Juuri samanlaisten välineiden käytöstä kertoo Aikia Aikianpoika oikeudenkäynnissään.

Löydetty noita oli kuollut n. 40 vuoden ikäisenä. Raha oli oli varmaankin ollut käytössä jo jonkin aikaa ennen riipukseksi päätymistään, joten luultavasti henkilö oli kuollut n. 1600 luvun alussa. Aikia Aikianpoika oli Kitkasta. Löydetty noita oli Kitkasta. Taidot periytyvät isältä pojalle...

Meillä on tässä haudassa siis mahdollisesti Aikia Aikianpojan isä ellei peräti Aikia Aikianpoika itse.

Aikia Aikianpoika kuoli rekimatkalla. Olisiko hänet silti tuotu takaisin Kitkaan ? Paljon mahdollista... Todennäköistä on kuitenkin, että henkilö ei ole kuitenkaan Aikia Aikianpoika vaan hänen isänsä.

Aikia Aikianpoika kuoli 1671, joten haudassa olleiden esineiden, kuten ortodoksiristin ja vanhan rahan säilyminen olisi epätodennäköistä. Lisäksi Kuusamo oli vahvasti jo kirkon piirissä Aikian kuolemisen aikaan, joten olisi hautaustapana jo epätodennäköinen Aikia Aikianpojalle.

Kitkan noidaksi -nimetyn henkilön, mahdollisesti siis Aikian, jäänteet ovat Oulun museossa.

Jos Kitkan noidan kyseessä on isä Aikia, henkilö on syntynyt n. 1560-1573 välisenä aikana viitaten henkilön kuolinikään, jos henkilö on kuollut 1600-1613 välisenä aikana, voidakseen opettaa Aikia Aikianpojalle noitataidot sekä olla iältään Aikia Aikianpojan isä ja kuollessaan kuitenkin vain 40-vuotias.

Will Kitka's witch be brought back to Kuusamo or will the skeleton be taken to Siida? - The decisive DNA results of the case have been waited for five years!!!

The "Kitka witch" found in Lehtoniemi in Kuusamo in 1970 was buried on her back in a north-south direction with her feet to the north. The grave also contained a pewter bird figure, a silver buckle, a knife and a witch's drum hammer.

Do the skeleton and artefacts of the Lappish witch found in Lehtoniemi in Kuusamo in 1970 belong in Kuusamo, Inari, Siida Sámi museum or somewhere else?

There is no official answer to the question yet, but there are many different opinions. For example, a group of councilors from Kuusamo submitted an initiative at the last council meeting, proposing the return of the Lehtoniemi grave find to Kuusamo. The skeleton of the Sámi witch called Kitka noita would like to be buried and blessed back to rest in the grave in its original place.

The councilors who signed the initiative, Mika Määttä , Mika Flöjt , Vuokko Käsmä , Helena Karjalainen , Marjo Kämäräinen and Pekka Virtanen , say that they received a request for the initiative from the Sami people of Kuusamo.

The issue became relevant when the Provincial Museum of North Ostrobothnia emptied the Lappi hall of objects in the fall. The skeleton was part of that exhibition.

Pasi Kovalainen, director of cultural heritage work at Luup Museum and Science Center , states that there is no official position on the matter.

- It would be much smarter to discuss the matter when more is known about it. Speculating on a vague matter is a little tricky in itself. At this stage, we don't have an official position yet, because there is too little information to make a decision, Kovalainen says.

According to Kovalainen, the placement will be decided by the DNA results, which will reveal the buried ethnic group. According to Kovalainen, the skeleton of Sámi origin would belong to Inari, otherwise to Kuusamo, where it was found.

There have not yet been any actual discussions regarding the location of the objects of the exhibition presenting Sami culture in the Lappi hall.

- One e-mail has been exchanged with Siida. It just stated that we will continue to negotiate on the matter at some point. More details have not been agreed on, Kovalainen says.

DNA results from the University of Helsinki have been awaited for five years.

- We have been standing in line, so to speak. Someone has always passed us by, but we have waited patiently for the results. Current information is that we would be quite close to getting the results, but there is no information whether they will come this year or next year, Kovalainen says.

Friction witch
The grave was found during yard cleaning in 1970 in Lehtoniemi, Kitka. The cleaning was interrupted by an ax blade and a human skull spinning out of the ground.

The grave custom referred to the grave of a Lappish witch or shaman. In addition, a witch's drum hammer and bronze lottery rings were found in the grave.

The Lehtoniemi grave discovery is from the 16th-17th centuries.

The timing became more precise when a silver two-sided coin was found in the grave. The 1573 two-sided coin was in the grave at the witch's neck and the coin had a hole for hanging.
