Alexander Drury Walker was the eldest son of Lawrence Whitsett Walker & Sophia Susan Cade. He married Caroline "Callie" Sharp in Noxubee Co in 1849. They had 4 children before Callie's death in 1857. Susan Carter Walker 1850-1915 Hunter Sharp Walker Sr. 1853-1913 Lawrence "Larry" Whitsett Walker 1855-1918 M. Callie Sharp Walker 1857-1878
On May 19, 1860, after Callie's death, he married Laura Elvira Fitzgerald in Aberdeen, MS. They continued their family having 3 more children. William Fitzgerald Walker 1860-1924 Laura Fitzgerald "Lalla" Walker 1861-1952 Alexander Drury Walker Jr. 1862-1868
