Alonzo Adams

Brother Alonza “Slick Corky” Adams was born January 18, 1933 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Adams.

After completing his tour of duty in the United States Army, he went to work for the Ford company in Detroit, Michigan.

Mr. Alonza Adams departed this life Thursday, February 11, 1993 in Gary, Indiana.

He leaves to cherish his memories a devoted and loving wife, Mrs. Nola Adams of Weir, Mississippi; three daughters, Mrs. Linda Gayle Lumbard, Birmingham, Alabama, Mrs. Brenda Hugghis, Ms. Tiressa Adams, both of detroit; one son Mr. Alonza Scott, Birmingham; seven step-children; four grandchildren; five sisters, Mrs. Ida Maddox, Ms. Annie Adams, Mrs. Teresa Miller all of Birmingham; Ms. Princess Chambers of Gary, Indiana, Mrs. Obera Thomas of Detroit and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
