Note: This family came from Dodgeville Wisconsin and the Picture (do not have picture) was taken by J. Olson who was a photographer in Perham. The mother died in 1899. Seated from left to right: John Palubicki (Paulbeck) and his sister Mary (Mrs. Ernest Ryan) are both buried at Plentywood, Montana. Seated is Elizabeth (Mrs. Joe Kunza) (1868-1918) buried in St. Stanislaus Cemetery; Andrew Palubicki the father (1829-1914) buried in St. Stanislaus; seated Johanna (Mrs. Paul Perszyk) (1875-1932) buried in St. Stanislaus; Annie (Mrs. Vincent Cybulski) and her brother Frank are buried at Plentywood, Montana. Standing left to right: Leo buried in California; Jacob (1879-1932) buried in St. Henry's Cemetery of Perham; Henry (1873-1945) buried in St. Stanislaus; Gertrude (Mrs. Michael Sazama) (1871-1942) buried in St. Stanislaus; Paul (1877-1933) buried in St. Stanislaus and Michael who is buried in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
John and Jacob were partners in the early days in a general merchandise store. The partnership was dissolved in a few years, but Jacob continued. After his death, his wife Mary continued in business and then their son Bernard took over. The Red Owl store is in the third generation now with Richard Palubicki at the helm. Funeral of And. Palubicki "Perham, May 27 -- The funeral of Andreas Palubicki who died at the state hospital at Fergus was held here Friday from the St. Stanislaus church. The deceased was over 80 years of age and was for many years a resident of this vicinity. He is survived by seven sons, Jacob, John, Andrew, Leon, Michael, Paul and Frank and five daughters, Mrs. Mike Sazama, Mrs. Jos. Kunza, Mrs. Vincent Zbulski. Mrs. Perszyk, and Miss Mary Palubicki."
