"The Sabbath Recorder", Vol 31, No 20, p 3, May 13, 1875. In Farina, Ill., April 29th, 1875, of bilious intermittent fever, Mrs. Angeline Davis Platts, wife of David R. Platts, in the 58th year of her age. The deceased was born in Clark county, Ohio; was converted in early youth, and joined the Seventh day Baptist Church at Northampton, Ohio. She was married to her bereaved companion in December, 1838, and they spent most of their wedded life in Berlin and Milton, Wis. A year ago they came from Welton, Iowa, to Farina, and two weeks ago last Sabbath they joined the church here by letter. On that occasion Sister Platts expressed herself as having spent many happy hours of late in spiritual meditation, and in communion with her Saviour. An earnest, consistent, and faithful Christian has gone to her reward. O. U. W.
