In the Sydney Morning Herald of 24th October 1840 the following notice appeared:Marriage By special license, at St. John's Church, Parramatta on Tuesday last, Mrs. Ann Mobbs of Orange Orchard, Pennant Hills, aged 81 years to Mr William Smith aged 28 years.The marriage took place on 20 October 1840. Ann Smith died 20 /07/1850 and is buried with her first husband William Mobbs in St. John's Cemetery, Parramatta.
