Ann Wessels

Ann Ryerson, the eldest child of Joris and Sara (Shouten Dey) Ryerson, was born 15 June, 1792. She married Evert Wessels, of Acquacknonk. She died before her father, leaving eight children.

Her seventh child, Lucas Wessels, married 1 st Anntje, daughter of Rev. Johannis Van Drisen, and by a 2nd wife, was the father of the late John L. Wessels, of Pompton. Her youngest child, Maretje (Mary), married Johannis Ryerson. the 9th child of Frans. Ryerson.
