About Anna Lijskin Bamberg
Birth: http://hiski.genealogia.fi/hiski/33dx0x?fi+0208+kastetut+981
Kitee , Syntyneet, 1699-1759 https://www.sukuhistoria.fi/sshy/kirjat/Kirkonkirjat/kitee/syntynee...
Kummit Olof Berg ja Hedvig Stille.
In her birth year there was name Lisa written in a different way in the church records. Lijiskin seems to be a special form of name Elisabeth in Frisian language. That language was spoken for ex. in some parts of Preuss, Holland and Livonia. So she got her name after not only her mother but her Godmother too.
Elisabet/Lijskin was not Anna Lijskin's Bamberg godmother. Godfather was Olof Berg and godmother Hedvig Stille.
An interesting connection is that Frisian was spoken by Mennonites, who were protestants. They had to escape from Catholic area. A large number of them moved to Russia, and lived protected there. Some of them moved to America and turned to more simple life. Today those Americans are known Amishes. ( M-L S-E )
