About Anna Maria Jäger

Member of the 1717 or Second Germanna Colony (child)

Dr. Arthur Leslie Keith 1874-1942, Yager Family, Unpublished manuscript, n.d., p 9: Mary Yager. Her name has been preserved by tradition and appears in Nicholas Yager's importation paper of May 2, 1727.

She may have married and left a progeny as extensive as that of her brother Adam but all record thereof has perished. Her husband would likely be one of the eligible young men of the Germany colony. The writer has scrutinized later records and has found no German with wife Mary eligible to be this daughter of Nicholas Yager.
