Notes
It is clear from Anne's will that in 1673, she had just three living children, and, no doubt, another daughter, mother of Elizabeth Hubbard, was deceased.
One theory is that Elizabeth was the daughter of Mary who married George Hubbard. They had a daughter Elizabeth, however Mary was still living in 1673. Further Mary was of a different generation than the Bishop children.
A more likely scenario is that John and Ann Bishop were parents of Anne wife of John Jordan. Their daughter, Elizabeth, married Daniel Hubbard. Betty [Elizabeth] Jordan had witnessed the 1660 will of Mr. John Bishop of Guilford, being then in the Bishop house. She may have lived with her grandparents, explaining why she was the only grandchild to be mentioned. Also supporting this, Winthrop in 1658, mentioned Mary Jordan daughter of Thomas Clark's wife of Guilford, but living at Jeremy (misreading of James) Steele's for the present. James Steele was the husband of Bethia Bishop, so Mary Jordan was living with her Aunt Bethia Steele.

Inscription: Although this person was likely interred in Guilford's original village cemetery (now the commons and public park in downtown Guilford), no surviving gravestone was known in 1818 when all gravestones at the Village Green, but not the people's remains, were dispersed to other town cemeteries.
Note: Time and weather had erased the location of this grave when the cemetery was moved
