About Annie Davey
Annie Davey was an aunt to many of the Davey's family Davey children particularly. Mr Thomas Ritter was quite a lot older than Aunt Annie it was noted.
During second war they came to Essex to avoid the London Blitz. Presumably to be nearer to surviving Davey/Simpson/Carter relatives? Annie's husband Thomas Conrad died in Southend on sea in 1944 & was it seems buried in Rochford, although not actually checked at present.(2017) Sadly when she returned to Romford area? She died just after the end of the war. New research as of March 2017 Annie when aged at least 17 was working/assisting in the Grosvenor arms a public house owned/operated by her father & the rest of her immediate family were working there living on the premises it actually now appears in 1891.
