About Annie Ingram

Annie Moon was born circa 1715 in Johnston County, Colony of North Carolina. She married Richard Ingram circa 1744 and their daughter, Mary Elizabeth Ingram, was born on November 4, 1745, in Johnston County. Annie Ingram was listed as the wife of Richard Ingram in his will date December 5, 1780. She was granted his plantation and personal estate during her widowhood. Her husband, Richard Ingram, died in 1781 and Annie Moon Ingram died circa1789 in Johnston County, North Carolina.

I, Gidion Moon of Lunenburg, for the love I have towards my grandchildren, Nancy Ingram, Joshua Ingram and Mary Ingram of Lunenburg, I give them the following Negroes, viz , Jenny, Jacob, Winny, Judy, and Milly, that are now in the possession of Richard Ingram, their father. I give them the Negroes, to be equally divided between them when Joshua comes to the age of 16 years. If one of my grandchildren dies without issue, the Negroes to be divided between the two surviving grandchildren.
