M. is 39 from South Ca.[Carolina]. Their children are Mary L., 16; Cornelia A., 13; Orlando D., 4 -- all born in Georgia -- and 'Ionett W.' , male, 1, born Connecticut. Augustus Chester [Norman's brother], age 41 from Connecticut, is also living there. {p.200?}

Possibly the Augustine Chester who issued the first number of the Kankakee Gazette, Kankakee Illinois in 1853 and was an elder in the First Presbyterian Church of Kankakee in 1854. Augustin Chester married Marietta N. (Sharp) Brodie in Will County, Illinois in 1855.
