Departed from Hamburg at the end of September 1858 under Captain S. Johannes Stopped in Cape Town. A total of about 150 families disembarked from the 'Wilhelmsburg', the 'Peter Godeffroy' and the 'Johan Cesar' in Cape Town. Arrival in East London in what was then Kaffraria on 18 January 1859
