Founder of Boston Reynolds family of Back Bay, several members of which achieved exceptional distinction in medicine.
Admitted to Congregational Church in Bristol in 1722. He and his wife Susanna are buried in Bristol. Occupation was cordwainer.
His son John lived in Providence and Boston; son Benjamin went to Nova Scotia; son Grindall went to Putney VT and founded Vermont line of Reynolds family.
