• Stolpersteine were laid for Martin and Bertha (née Anschlewitz) Kiewe in Jena in 2011 with the accompanying text: "Der Kaufmann Martin Kiewe stammte aus Schlesien und wohnte in Berlin, als er die aus Leipzig stammende Witwe Bertha Geist 1926 in Jena heiratete. Das Ehepaar wohnte dann in der Zwätzengasse 14 und betrieb dort ein Textilgeschäft. Wie anderen jüdischen Geschäfts- inhabern auch wurde ihnen 1938 ihr Geschäft weggenommen und „arisiert“. Mit einem großen Transport aus Thüringen und Sachsen erfolgte am 10. Mai 1942 ihre Deportation nach Polen in den kleinen Ort Belzyce. Am 13. Oktober 1942 wurde das Ghetto von der SS geräumt, Bertha und Martin Kiewe sind wahrscheinlich dabei umgebracht worden." http://www3.jena.de/stolpersteine/kiewe.htm
