Biography

Bethiah was born about 1644 probably in Essex County, Massachusetts, as Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket were not settled until the followingdecade.
Bethiah and John drowned while returning from the Vineyard where they had been in pursuit of furniture, in company with Eleazer Folger Sr., Isaac Coleman, and an Indian, when the canoe upset and all perished except Eleazer Folger.

They had no children. (They'd been married only about eight months before.)
