Borghild Hoffman

Borghild was adopted by Harold Christian Brogge and Ivanna Marie Brogge (both from Tromso) after her father Karl Reinholdt Stromsted died of TB. Were the Brogge couple close family friends or some sort of relative? In or before 1910 this family moved to Aust-Agder (Norway census shows Borghid is then 15 years old). In 1918 Borghild gave birth to a son Harald Bugge; the father was Einar Bugge. Don't know the details of the relationship, but in 1924 April 14th, Borghild set sail to USA, alone. She met Charles Hoffman and got married. Sometime in the 1930's she visited Grandma Lisken (Borghild's elder sister) in Sanger California.
US Census up to 1950 shows she's still alive and living in new York. Don't know when or where she died.
