He had went out of Halifax and Warren Counties where he was head of household of ten "free other" in 1800 and received his bounty lands in Ga where he held civil offices as a Surveyor or Roads, Justice of the Peace, & 3 year Tax Collector all in Effingham County, later Bulloch Co, Ga.

War. https://www.ncleg.gov/Sessions/2013/Bills/House/PDF/H113v1.pdf General Assembly of North Carolina Session 2013 Page 2 H113 [Edition 1] and was guided to St Tammany Parish by his son-in-law, Fed Pre BIA Indian Agent and Munitions Supplier of War of 1812, "Choctaw Bill Williams" of the Nottoway Planter whose forebear 3 generations back was listed as tithable (tax on being native) in the Lancaster Parish Tax Roll.

Benjamin was father in law to William WIlliams. aka Choctaw Bill, War of 1812 Federal Passport Agent and Munitions Supplier War. They, along with the First Circuit Preacher to the Florida Parishes, Rev Isom Pounds, whose name appeared on the 1855 Cooper Rolls, were of Old Cheraw from Oropeake Reservation of Coropeake, Va, of the Chief Parker lines and of the Nottoway Old Cheraw at the Williams Plantation where is currently located the Battle Beach Park, at the Men of the Nottoway lands called Hogg's Neck and now is Battle Beach, Newsom Co, Va. This transfer group went from Virginia to help Col Eaton in Fishing Creek and received bounty lands from the in-law of the daughter of Benjamin Richardson, the SC Assemblyman Captain Keder Keaton, SC Legislator initiating the 1767 vote that began Old Cheraw's District. By 1810, they has received passport to go to Ft Adams in MS., then Indian Territory, by passport of Fed Jackson Papers' authority; later receiving lands which they flipped an Rev Pounds named his lands from 2 Presidents in a land flip from the checkerboard properties to the place where he preferred, naming it Cheraw in the county of Marion named by Capt John Lott and founder of the county, for Marion's Raider of which Capt Benjamin Richardson was one, serving under Francis Marion as did the father of Choctaw Bill.

Indenture made 8 Jan 1776; recorded 5 March 1799, between William Kearsey /Coursey, Sheriff of Screven County for the year 1795 and Hardy Richardson of Bulloch County, 350 acres taken by virtue of execution of the property of Benjamin Richardson, Esq. including the plantation whereon he now resides and sold to Hardy Richardson for $53 as highest bidder.

Marriage bond: The dates in the 1700's bonds required three notices prior to marriage. The bondsman, William Mizell granted the bond in the county where the bride-to-be resided.
