Obed was born March 10, 1721(NOTE : 10 March 1721 can also be interpreted as 10 March 1722) in Norton, Bristol, Massachusetts. He was the son of Thomas Harvey and Sarah Unknown.[1]
He died in 1802 in Durham, Greene, New York, USA[2] References to (possibly) Thomas Harvey (or possibly to his father Thomas Harvey b. 1682) and to siblings Joel, Zebulon, & Obed Harvey are found as follows : other Nine Partners Patent gleanings :
