2. Lydia Wing,  born May 23, 1647. Lydia would marry twice; (1) Thomas Hamilton, (2) John Abbot. Born at Sandwich, moved to Newport, Rhode Island, forty-seven miles away from Sandwich. Returned to Sandwich after the death of her husband.

1. Lydia Wing (Daniel Wing2, John Wing1) was born 23 Jul 1647 in Sandwich, Plymouth colony, and died Bet 1704 and 1709 in Sandwich, Massachusetts. She married Thomas Hamilton 1668. He was born est 1645 in (Rhode Island), and died Bef 1688 in (Newport, RI). She married John Abbott Abt 1684 in Sandwich, Plymouth colony. He was born Abt 1661, and died 1710 in Sandwich, Massachusetts.

  • + 2 i. Daniel Hamilton was born 17 Feb 1670 in Rhode Island, and died 8 Dec 1738 in Chatham, Massachusetts.

Captain Thomas Hamilton R.N., was in 1672 in command of H.M.S. "Mermaid" of 140 men and 30 guns, later of H. M. S. "Constant", "Warwick", and "Mary Rose" and in 1673 of the galley "Charles" in Tangiers Roads. On 29 Aug. 1682 he was ordered to take gypsies to the Plantations on his ship and in 17 November the year following, to convoy the return of troops from Tangiers to Ireland. He died in New England.

He was Captain of the Kingfisher, which carried Sir Edmund Andros, new Governor General, to Boston in 1686[2]
