Carrie May Kendell

Carrie Mae Kendell was born February 9, 1875, the daughter of Zachariah and Parentha Handley. She married Commodore Perry Kendell. While raising their family they made their home in several towns in Oklahoma and Kansas. They had five daughters, Bernice, Gladys, Cletice, Bessie and Ruby.

Carrie is survived by her husband, Commodore Perry Kendell, and their five daughters, Bernice Davis, Gladys Lane, Cletice McElyea, Bessie Hutchinson, and Ruby McBee. She had diabetes, and her health was not good, so she spent the last few years in a wheel chair.

Carrie Mae Kendell, died February 10, 1940. Burial is in Rose Hill Burial Park in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
