About Cecily Farrar

concerns

Although this Cecily resembles Cecily Sherman and is commonly thought to be her, they have not yet been proven to be the same person. Further research is warranted.

In Alvahn Holmes book there is no mention of a daughter Elizabeth for William and Cecily Farrar. Their proven children were: Cecily (b. abt 1625), William II (b. 1627), and John (b. aft Sept. 1631). It says all the descendants of William and Cecily stem from the son William Farrar II. The son John never married or had children, and Holmes doesn't speculate about who young Cecily may have married.
