On February 16, 1624, Margaret (Margery), the infant daughter of Samuel and Cisley Jordan (Jordain, Jorden, Jorden) was living at Jordan's Journey in a household headed by her widowed mother and William Farrar. On January 21, 1625, when a muster was made of the community's inhabitants, Margaret was described as a 1-year-old girl who had been born in Virginia. Her birth occured somewhat after her father's death (CBE 36, 51). (McCartney).
