"Charlotte, wife of Washington L. Wirick, was born in Logansport, Ind., Nov. 8, 1839, and died at the family residence, Aug 31, 1894, after a sever illness of many month's duration. She was married to W. L. Wirick Nov. 23, 1862. The husband, with his two daughters, Mrs. May Justice and Miss Maud Wirick, survives her. She united with the Christain Church in 1865. Her chief purpose in life was to honor her Saviour, whom she delightfully served, and died in the precious hope of life eternal. The funeral services were largely attened. T. S. Freeman. Logansport, Ind., Sept 4, 1894."
