Chief Baptiste Bone of 61A Okanase Reserve Clear Lake, where the people worked together. In the spring they would spear fish in the lakes of the Riding Mountain. No one went hungry because whether they caught fish, killed Elk or Moose the food was shared. This community 61A Okanase reserve although linked with living relatives at Keeseekoowenin 61 Reserve was at the same time an autonomous group. This is indicated by the fact that Reserve 61A Okanase Reserve had it's own Chief for time immemorial. Chief Baptiste Bone was the Chief of 61A Okanase Reserve Clear Lake, Manitoba. At the same time Chief Keeseekoowenin his 1/2 brother was the Chief of 61 Keeseekoowenin Reserve.

Reserve 61 Keeseekoowenin First Nation, is adjacent to the Elphinstone village ten miles south of 61A Okanase Reserve of the Riding Mountain.

Baptiste Bone was born in Manitoba in 1836. Library and Archive Canada: Keeseekoowenin Band Reserve 1906 He died on 28 November 1924 and is burried in George Flett's mission cemetery on the 61 Keeseekoowenin Reserve.
