Chloe Norton Alcott's parents were Abraham and Mehitable Doolittle Norton. Chloe's father's line goes back to Anne Lloyd Eaton, wife of Theophilus Eaton of New Haven Colony. I am a member of the Order of the Crown of Charlemagne through this Norton line:

- John Norton, III m. Mary Norton
- Elizabeth Morgan m. Capt. John Morgan (son of James of Haddam)

- Anne Eaton (dau of George Lloyd, Bishop of Chester) m. Theophilus Eaton, Esq., First Governor of New Haven Colony
Bishop Lloyd's line goes back to Joan - Plantagenet, Lady Snowdon, illegitimate daughter of John I "Lackland", King of England and wife of Llewelyn Fawr ab Iorwerth, Prince of Gwynedd. And thus back to Charlemagne and to the Merovingian dynasty.
