Murdoch Mackay, eldest son and apparent heir of Niel Mackay of Achness, and Christian, daughter of Donald AIackay of Scoury, is added in a foot note. The original contract is in the author's possession. Donald Mackay of Strathnaver, afterwards Lord Reay, is a party to it.
