John 'Jacob' Myers was a member of the 'Little Swatara Congregation of German Baptist Brethren' in Bethel Township, Dauphin County. Before 1785, Bethel was located in Lancaster County. Bethel is presently in Lebanon County, as county lines have shifted over time.

Original research findings: 'Anna' was born 1728. The births of Anna and John's children are approximates only.. Which 'implies' Anna was only 11 yrs old when Maria was born... This would be impossible... so, we have to take into consideration the fact of 'approximates' of both 'parents' and 'children'....
