Colonel Lord Henry Francis Montagu Douglas Scott

He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.). He fought in the Boer War. He was Colonel of the 3rd Battalion, Royal Scots (Lothian Regiment) between 1907 and 1912. He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches five times. He gained the rank of Honorary Colonel in the service of the 3rd Battalion, Royal Scots (Lothian Regiment). He held the office of Lieutenant of the Royal Company of Archers. He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Dumfries-shire. He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Roxburghshire. He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Berwickshire.
