Notes
"There is some question as to whether this name is correct but it is a good guess. It could just be Anne Fine. This name obtained from Dave Welch. Says he is a cousin to Michael Stephen Jackson and this info came from his book. He is descended from Vinet Henry. This information he says is from the will of George Henry in which George names his wife as Anne, the only place where she is named. He later stated in an email that George's wife was Anny Fine." (2)
"....a seconday information source indicate Major Peter Fine an Vinette Fine had a sister named Elizabeth born in 1761 whose middle name perhaps was Ann or Anne.....not much to put your teeth in..... The Fines migrated between ca 1765 and 1775 from the Norfork VA area (coast) to Dunmore Co VA...Dunmore Co became Shenandoah Co VA in 1772. The Fine's left Shenandoah Co VA between the time when the 1783 Shenandoah Co VA census was taken and the winter of 1783. They had settled in Cocke Co TN by the winter of 1783. The Fines ran a ferry (today's location ca 2 miles N/E of Newport, TN on the French Broad River)." (2)
