Obituary-Daisy M. Thomas

    Daisy M. Thomas, 84, Rt. 4, Machias, died Monday morning in a local hospital after a brief illness.  Mrs. Thomas was born in Lowell, Ind. September 23, 1872.  She had lived in this community for the past 57 years and in the state for 60 years.  Mrs. Thomas was a member of Machias Congregational Church.  Surviving are eight daughters, Mrs. Lorus Gemmer of Rt. 4, Mrs. Mildred Bihm of Solona Beach, Calif; Mrs. Lotus Hyatt of Auburn, Mrs. Daisy Vail of Snohomish, Mrs. Mable Koller of Chowchilla, Calif; Mrs. Shirley Hart of Renton, Mrs. Jean Woolworth of Snohomish and Mrs. Pearl Cushman of Snohomish.  One son, CWO James M. Thomas of Sandra Base, Albuquerque, N.M.  Funeral Services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Bauer Funeral Home, with the Rev. Paul G. Perkins officiating.  Cremation followed in View Crest Abbey in Everett.
