Samuel was the s/o emigrant Capt. James Parker & Elizabeth Long.

Samuel was the s/o emigrant Capt. James Parker & Elizabeth Long. He married Abigail Lakin in 1685 in Groton, MA where their 8 children were born: James 1686, Robert 1688, Samuel 1690, John 1694, Abigail 1696, Jonathan 1698, Rachel 1699 and Eunice 1705. Samuel died in 1712, probably from smallpox; his widow Abigail remarried to a Robt. Dickson.
According to a manager of the Groton OBG (Old Burying Ground), there are an estimated 400 graves in the OBG that do not have grave stones and it is presumed by the author of this bio, that Samuel Parker's grave is included amoung the unmarked graves.
