Her grave says: "Died in hope of Eternal life thro ye mercy of ye Lord Jesus June ye 17 1756 in the 92 year of her age", meaning she was born between June 1664 and June 1665.[2]

This Deborah Buell has been detached from incorrect parents Samuel Buel and Deborah Griswold. They already have a well-documented daughter with the same name who married Nathaniel Porter, and their daughter cannot be this Deborah Buell who married Simon Newcomb. That Deborah Buell died in 1710. This Deborah Newconb died in 1756.
Some genealogies show her as Deborah Lathrop, daughter of Samuel Lothrop and Elizabeth Scudder. However, Samuel Lothrop (alleged father) died 1700, and his probate named no daughter Deborah.
The Newcomb Family Association[1] follows the work of John Bearse Newcomb, which regards her last name as Unknown. If there is any other supporting evidence of her birth name or family tree, even if disputed or circumstantial or uncertain, please start a discussion.
