He removed in the summer of 1761 to Coruwallis, Nova Scotia, and was one of the proprietors of that town ; received by division several lots of land. While living in L. he was elected to various offices — surveyor of highways, fence viewer, etc.; was admitted to chh. Jan. 25, 1730; d. in Cornwallis, 1774.
