This protocolo sets forth the will of Capitán Francisco Botello de Morales. He states that he's the legitimate son of Pedro Botello de Morales and Ama María de Avila, both deceased and that his father was a native of Valverde, Extremadura, Spain, and that his mother was a native of the city of Códova, Spain. He stipulates burial in the "Parroquial, then sets forth his debts. He states that he married Juana de la Garza, legitimate daughter of Marcos Alonso de la Garza and Catalina Martínez Guajardo, who were residents of Saltillo. He identifies his children Sebastián, María, Diego, Melchora, Pedro, Petrona, Juan, and Francisca--all adults. Then he allocates inheritances and states that María will marry José de la Serna, Melchora is to marry Andrés González, Petronila to marry Diego Galván, and Francisca now married to Juan Bautista de Saldúa, ...
