Executor of his father, Capt. Robert's estate in 1736-1740. He was responsible for assessing land value, and distributing the proceeds to his sisters.
His son, Benjamin (yeoman), was executor of his (Ebenezer) estate in 1765, as well as Ebenezer's mother, Mary, in 1766-1767.
Also listed in Ebenezer's will, and signed are Ebenezer Brooks, Jr. of Medford and James Converse of Cambridge.
Ebenezer's mother, Mary Converse, dower (what she was left by her dec'd husband, Robert) was executed by Ebenezer's son Benjamin in 1767. Based on this, there may have been other children of Ebenzer and Ruth (quoting below):
"....then to pay to his brothers and sisters (children of the said Ebenezer) viz. Robert, James, Josiah, Ruth & Mary, each thirty one shillings and ten pence."
This also lists Ebenezer's sisters (son Benjamin's aunts), and talks of dec'd or not (continuation of above):
"and to his aunts (children of the said Robert the ___ late aforesaid) viz. Mary Mary Reed, Sarah, Anne, Keziah Keziah Reed and Susanna -- each 11 pounds two shillings and nine pence:
and the hiers at law of his aunt Elizabeth Elizabeth Simonds, dec'd the sum of " " : and to the heirs at law of his aunt Hannah Hannah Thompson the like sum of " "; and to the heirs at law of his aunt Esther Esther Snow the like sum of ""."
