Edward Becher was the "younger" son of Lionel Becher, his older brother Thomas dying without leaving any male issue. Deed 383 533 254795

• Edward Becher married by licence on the 11th August 1756 in County Cork, Ireland to Jane Bousfield. They had two children; Lionel & Elizabeth before Jane died in November 1758.

St James Chronicle Sat August 22 1761 “ Married at Inishannon Edward Becher Esq. to Miss Ruth Herrick, daughter of Edward Herrick of Shippoll, Esq.

Edward had two sons named in his father Lionel Becher's will in 1767; Michael and Edward Becher.

Edward Becher was alive in 1772 when he proved his father's will.
