No, 47 Volume XXXIV Page 849 A set of papers regarding the delinquency of Edward Evans of Triddy borough, in the County of Montgomery, Gent. His delinquency was that he was in arms against Parliament . But sayth he submitted to Parl't in October 1645 , but did not proceed on it, in regards he was informed there would be a particular Committee appointed to the compound in Wales. and by that it means his petition was mislayed. He petitioned here on the 28th of October 1648. He compounds upon a particular delivered in under his own land in 1648 by whereas he does submit such a ffine etc. And by wh'ch it does appeare, therein P'ticullary named of a yearly value of 16 pounds . But he sayth therein but an estate for life. 13 January 1648 at the six 48 pounds
PAGE 18 October 1648 " Known to all men whom it may concern that Edward Euanes off Rhyd-y-Carw in the County of Montgomery took the National League Convenant and Negative Oath [This means that Edward Evans agreed to support Parliament and no longer the King] On this same date Edward petitioned the courts stating " He had been a servant of Prince Morris in the war against Parliament for which his estate was sequestered and he had petitioned in 1645 but did not proceed because he was informed a P'ticular committee appointed for the compound in Wales . He now prays that he shall be admitted a reasonable composition [reasonable fine] for his small estate , which he claimed had a yearly value of 16 pounds and was oonly a life estate .The property was described as a Tenement and Landes in possession of Griffith David called Cwmgwerrnogge Gwerny Herrion " being a yearly value of 8 pounds and tan-y-lan in the possession of Evan Davids pen Couch of a yearly value of 4 pounds and Kevin Barrode in the possession of David Evans of a yearly value before troubles began of 4 pounds." Edward Evans of Rhyd-y-Carw was unable to provide a deed to prove ownership and was confined to a life estate. The date on the back of the folio dated 28 October 1649 specified fine as 48 pounds .

The humble petition off Edward Evans of Ffrydd-y-Carw in the county of Montgomery , Gent., Shrewth that y'r petitioner was a servant of Prince Morris in the warr against Parliament for which the delinquenceye his estate was under sequestracom, that he came to Parliament in October 1645 and peti'oned here in Nouember following but did not proceed uppon it in regards he was informed the would be a particular comitee apointed for the compound in Wales By reason of his not prosecution being soe long since he petitioned, jhis petition got mislayed. PAGE 855 A Particular Estate off Edward Euanes for which he desireth to compound. He was seized off an Estate for life in a tenement and landes in the possession of Griffith Dauid called Cwmgwernogge Gwerny Herrion , being a yearly vallue ouver and aboue the chardges going out off 8 pounds. He was seized of a like tenement and certain landes called Tan-y-lan in the possession of Euan Dauids pen Couch off a yearly vallue of 4 pounds. He is seized of a like estate and landes called Keuen Barrode in the possession of David Evans of a yearly vallue before the trouble of 4 pounds. The Deed does not make it appearre that He hath but a estate for life he can not produce the honorable comitee, it being in others handes, who are also concerned in it, but humbly prayes the persuall of it may be refer'd to comitee that he may have an allowance accordingly .This is the true particulars upon which he does submitte to such a fine as imposed by this honorable comitee. On the back of this Folio Edward Euanes Report passed October 25 1649 Ffyne 48 pounds.
