About Edward Peter Strickler
Funeral services for Edward Peter Strickler, one of Lebanon County's oldest and most distinguished residents, were held this morning from the Salem E.U.B. Church. Strickler, one-time county commissioner and a partner in a flour mill here for 60 years died Friday at the Camp-A-While Nursing Home in Campbelltown. He was 85 years old. The Rev. Chester C. Hollingsworth, pastor of the Salem EUB Church, officiated. Interment was made in the Mt. Lebanon Cemetery with members of the family serving as bearers. A profusion of flowers at the funeral attested to the high esteem in which the deceased was held. The Frantz and Koch Funeral Home, 922 Willow St., was in charge of arrangements.
