Note: in Conway Wing's second edition of his Register of John Wing on p. 71 he ambiguously lists "their children" without separating his last two daughters Sarah Wing and Mary Wing as being issue of his third wife Patience rather than his second wife Sarah Tucker. On p. 94, however, Sarah Wing is specified correctly as the daughter of Patience, but there is no other entry for Mary Wing. Life

In a deed from Daniel Wing, Edward is described as an Innholder and weaver. In another deed from Samuel, he is called a Husbandman (farmer). [2] He "resided some time in Sandwich, but removed to Dartmouth, Bristol County, Mass., where his father had been the owner of lands which were now deeded to him." [3] In some legal instruments now in the possession of a branch of the family at Fort Edward, are a number of receipts, notes, deeds and conveyances, from which we are able to infer what must have been the relations of the several parties. Among these are a certificate of marriage between Edward Wing and Sarah, a daughter of Abraham and Hannah Tucker, of Dartmouth, (witnessed by Dorcas, Matthew and Samuel Wing); a deed in which Daniel Wing "a cooper," conveys to Edward Wing, "a husbandman," one-half of his undivided interest in his lands in Dartmouth ; a Collector's warrant for the town of Dartmouth, dated March 21, 1725-6, in which Edward Wing is mentioned as a constable ; two deeds, dated 1698, by which Daniel conveyed to Edward Wing two parcels of land, one of 85 and another of 15 acres, in Dartmouth ; two other deeds dated respectively 1716 and 1727, in one of which Edward is styled an "innholder" and a "weaver."
